Day 2 - Plain City to Irwin

Our Marchers reach their second destination spot!

The beautiful weather continued into the second day of Marching Miles. We started off with a few words from Bill Butler, and then six marchers left Western Credit Union heading for Rosedale Bible College.

Along the way through town, with a quick stop by Grandma's house, a cute little 4-legged marcher was added to our group. As we continued on our way, we found out why the "Plain" was put in Plain City. The flat landscape allowed the wind to push on us through out the entire walk. Along the way we were treated to nature's best with sights like endless fields, serene creeks, and towering trees. We also saw interesting landmarks like a historic log cabin and cemetery, and an old iron bridge.

With support from the RV, driven by John Dellinger, we made it the entire 12.6 miles to Rosedale College. We were exhausted, but happy that we were able to do our part to support Children's Miracle Network in the first Marching Miles for Miracle Kids.

Special congrats to those marchers that marched the whole 12+ miles!
