Day 15 - Marion to Waldo
Four brave souls started out today in yucky wet weather.
There were many adventures during the day. The first was avoiding a young cowboy in his mustang! Though the traffic was better on the next road, the walkers didn't anticipate having to beat a train, so they became short distance sprinters, beating the train by a minute.
During the walk, Kristina decided to entertain her fellow companions by singing (off-key) to them, which was good motivation to walk faster! Halfway through the walk, the sun decided to come out and the skies cleared. The third adventure startled the walkers and RV driver. It was a on-eyed dog that tried to catch a ride in the RV with Bob. As it turns out, Sam the dog was harmless.
The walkers then arrived safely at their destination in the middle of nowhere in a little over three hours invigorated and ready to go another 12 miles (in the RV). Our Marchers:
