Day 15 - Akron to Everett

We began our march at Akron Children's Hospital. While the marchers feasted on breakfast provided by GenFed and Kent Credit Unions, Nicci Avalon, of Akron Children's Hospital Foundation provided us with words of encouragement. While most of the 17 participants walked the route to Hunt Farm trailhead in Cuyahoga Valley National Park , a few of the marchers chose to bike the route instead. Today's route was just over 11 miles, so when we reached the end, the fried chicken picnic lunch provided by Buckeye Credit Union was a welcome sight. Although it had been overcast all day and we thought we might get wet on the trail, it turned out to be a great day for walking or biking and it didn't start until after we all finished lunch.
