Day 13 - Dayton to Miamisburg
Day 13, April 13th, marchers set out for another 12 mile hike.
Sly and the Family Stone weren't available, so it was up to Kelly and the Family Schermerhorn to make it A Family Affair on Friday the 13th. Vicki from Standard Register, joined by Kelly (CES Credit Union) & Caroline Schermerhorn, along with three of their children, Patrick (12), Jacob (9), and Veronica (8) covered 12 beautiful miles on Friday the 13th. When asked if she was superstitious about the date, Vicki replied "I hadn't really thought about it until someone at work asked me yesterday." This Friday the 13th turned out to be a lucky day to walk. It was a beautiful, sunny, clear day, though a bit windy and cool.
