Wednesday, April 11th, two brave soles set out to conquer another leg of the March. Not only, was today's march the longest of the 19 days (12.8 miles), but it was some of the nastiest weather yet! But, that didn't stop Christy O'Connell (Ohio HealthCare FCU) and Karen Young (Standard Register FCU) from stepping out for a good cause.

They braved the cold wind and heavy rain and walked the entire way with only two breaks! The RV, driven by Jaime Crooks (Ohio HealthCare FCU) stopped in several locations along the way to provide the marchers with some warmth and fuel for the walk, but Christy and Karen often walked right past the RV and just kept on going...eager to get to their final destination.

In just over 4 hours, they arrived at St. Helen's FCU, soaked to the bone and covered in smiles! We even had to ask Karen if she had been attacked by wild animals, her pants were torn and tattered...she merely laughed and said that she faced a lot of obstacles along the way. We have to hand it to these two for ignoring the beastly weather and helping to make this event a success!

Thanks to those who participated today. We are yet another step toward our goal!
