Day 11 - Lima to Ada

The day started out kinda cool but sunny. As we were dancing around to keep warm we wondered if we were dressed warm enough. We hit the road at 9:00 sharp. By 9:30 the sunshine and walking definitely warmed us up. We had a runner that came along with us. Doug Anthony, member of Superior Federal Credit Union, met up with us at 9:30 and passed us! He ran the 13.6 miles in under 2 hours! The scenery was beautiful as we passed a lot of farm land and wooded areas that had many yellow daffodils growing in them. Then we came across the farm of llamas. That was a sight to see! Poor Wendy thought we were done when we got to the end of Reservoir Rd. not realizing she still needed to walk 3/4 mile more to the final destination. I think Chris carried her the last leg of the way!
